It’s a Friday and decided to take it easy on the Live stuff. We got some great pics taken OF and ON the yacht, still Deep Gold related mind you (we ain’t posting anything non-Deep Gold here, for that go here). And for those nature loving fetish urge within all of us, posted stunning panoramic pics taken somewhere in Palawan. Embrace the weekend folks!
Why are shower scenes necessary in most movies? It ain’t like its “Psycho” where the scene propels the plot to reach its ultimate end. Besides the fleshy appreciation derived from such shots, audiences are left to wonder what substance this brings into the plot.
Like sex scenes, they’re fundamentally fillers and market pleasers. It largely depends on the target demographic the film’s focusing on. With action/suspense films, the target market is highly predictable. Most of the time it’s the 18-45 year old male crowd who enjoys action flicks and the flesh attached to it. This crowd of testosterone filled brains has allotted a hefty amount of disposable income to satiate their thirst for flesh.
The scenes bring in more greenery (not whitish) substance to the production company and with it, countless (highly dependent on the amount of skin shown) eyeballs to the screen.
It is art, so they say. Again, don’t take my word for it, just my 2 cents on the whole phenomenal trend shower scenes have shown over the years. I for one am included within the ranks of the 18-45year old flesh hungry crowd – and a proud member at that.
In this scene, Bebe Pham cleans away all the dirt collected through her hard day’s work. Guess searching for your missing boyfriend and gazillions worth of gold’s a bit too much for our heroine.
Sorry guys, that's all you're going to see... Just watch the film when it's released, perhaps you'll see more of Bebe
To usher in our live coverage of Deep Gold the movie, here's the trailer:
Synopsis
Shortly after Cebuano freediver Amy Sanchez breaks an important freediving record, her boyfriend - Philippine Air Force Pilot Tony - mysteriously vanishes together with a flight that is supposed to bring millions of dollars worth of gold to the Central Bank in Manila.
Determined to discover the truth, she goes off with her sister to find out.
Is Tony actually dead? Or if not, is the man she loved really part of the plot to steal the gold? But she has no idea that she is about to discover the unexpected, and entangles herself in a web of lies and deceit before she finds out that somebody used her for what turns out to become a much larger conspiracy.
Fight scenes are one of those obligatory scenes that’s incorporated in to every major/minor film release and TV shows. The staple method on presenting two opposing forces -- the clash of the plot’s antagonist and protagonist where mostly the story climax occurs.
Such scenes entails numerous sessions of rehearsals to achieve a fail-safe approach. One of them deals with both off-set and on-set rehearsals. The former is where the stunt coordinator demontstrates the scene with body doubles and actors. And at the same time, the director and cameraman studies the best framing angle for the shots as well as the best movement and action for the scene. The latter is more of the same, the difference is, it’ll be done on the actual set piece as the backdrop while the camera rolls.
Bigfoot's water tank in Mactan Cebu
Below, posted production pics shot at the water tank here in Mactan Cebu. The pool was specifically designed for underwater shots, may it be photo shoots or film. If you look closely, pool windows were strategically placed on various areas of the tank enabling cameramen and photographers take advantage of great views to capture that ‘moment’.
you can see three safety divers positioned around the actors

Bebe Pham and director and actor Michael Gleissner fight it off
Here'sa car chase scene shot right smack in Mactan, Cebu Philippines. Director Michael Gleissner shows us the twists and turns of directing such an intricately dangerous scene with the help of action director, Ailen Sit.
